My Senior Defense/Capstone Film Topic

After today's refresher about your senior Capstone film project, what topic(s) are you considering for your senior defense capstone?
—Climate change
Why do you believe your social issue is important to bring awareness to?
—How we treat our climate will determine the future of all life on Earth. Most people acknowledge the horrors of climate change, but few are willing to ignite a change drastic enough to save the planet.
-The temperatures on the planet are getting more and more extreme making it difficult for species to adapt quick enough to survive.
What type of film are you considering for your Senior Capstone Film? A Documentary, A PSA or Short Film? Explain Why.
—A documentary, as it would get the point across while still remaining visually interesting. It also doesn’t require much of a script, unlike a short film.
A short film, told through the perspectives of stuffed animals, will provide a unique approach to tell the tale of this not delightful subject.
Which component do you plan to use to present your senior defense (Your Blog, Google Slides, Canva, etc). Please explain why.
—Probably my blog, as much of the information is already on there. I feel as though it would be easier to fulfill the requirements through my blog than with any other format.
My website because I have worked on it throughout my high school education and I feel it will therefore help me reflect and present my defense better.
From what you know about the Capstone project already, which part of it do you need further understanding?
—I just really need to know about any time constraints, since all of the examples were drastically different lengths. I’m also a bit curious about the rent schedules for things like cameras.
Probably the filming schedules that will be put in place, but I will probably need further understanding as the project progresses.
